"nudge" යන පදය විශේෂයෙන් අතක් භාවිතයෙන්, කෙනෙකුට හොඳින් අවධානය යොමු කිරීම හෝ ක්‍රියා කිරීම සඳහා සෙමින් තල්ලුවක් හෝ ඇනීමයි. මෙම ශාරීරික ක්‍රියාව බොහෝවිට මෘදු වන අතර ප්‍රතිපත්තියක් හෝ යෝජනාවක් සන්නිවේදනය කිරීමේ සූක්ෂම ක්‍රමයකි.

nudge යන පදය ඒකකීය සහ අඛණ්ඩ නොවන බව අර්ථ දක්වන අතර, කෙනෙකුට වඩාත් අවශ්‍ය ක්‍රියාවක් හෝ අවධානයක් දක්වන, කුඩා ක්‍රියාවක් හෝ දැනුවත්කම සදහා භාවිතා කරයි.
